TANDBERG also unveiled the Media Processing System (MPS), the first carrier-class multipoint control unit to maintain all of its ports without loss of critical features such as encryption. The MPS ensures video users have the same performance on multipoint sessions as on point-to-point calls.

Further expanding the market for visual communication, TANDBERG created a line of products for individual workspaces and introduced the groundbreaking Expressway™ solution for simple and secure firewall traversal and a global dial-plan. Expressway makes IP video calls within and between organizations as easy as sending e-mails and improves relationships with suppliers, customers and home office workers.
