Plant a Billion Trees

TANDBERG is supporting The Nature Conservancy and helping to raise awareness about the impacts of carbon emissions on the environment. Through The Nature Conservancy’s Plant a Billion Trees program, TANDBERG will arrange to have a tree planted in the Atlantic Brazilian Rainforest when you fill out the form below to indicate that you want to support this effort to help stop global climate change.

The Atlantic Brazilian Rainforest is considered one of the world’s most endangered tropical forests. Plant a Billion Trees aims to restore 2.5 million acres of the forest by planting 1 billion trees over 7 years. This reforestation effort will remove 10 million tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere annually; equivalent to taking 2 million cars off the road.

You can do more to reduce you own carbon footprint. Telepresence and video conferencing offer an ideal solution to enable you to reduce the amount of time you spend in your car or traveling, and stay visually connected to anyone anywhere. If a single company allowed just 100 employees to work from home one day each week, 103,080 fewer pounds of carbon dioxide would be emitted into the atmosphere annually. It would take five acres of tress to absorb that amount.
