Frame/Frame per second
A frame is a single static image in motion. FPS (Frame Per Second) is the number of images per second presented on the display of a video call. Generally speaking, the higher the FPS, the higher the perceived motion. Just like a "flip book" showing a cartoon, the faster you flip through the images, the more realistic the image it will look.
